UTV/SXS are the newest and biggest craze to hit the off road power sports industry since the off road power sports industry was created. With this has come huge leaps in bounds in suspension technology from all manufactures , company’s such as Fox, Walker Evans , JRI and Elka can now be found as OEM Equipment from some of the manufactures. These shocks contribute to the ride quality these machines have as well as the handling and durability.

UTV Shock service includes new Amsoil Shock Therapy oil of the proper weight, labor to disassemble, clean, inspect and reassemble the shock, and charge the shock with nitrogen to manufacture specs.

To properly take full advantage of all that travel the manufactures give you these shocks work best after being tailored to your specific riding requirements. The RZR1000xp is a perfect example , under sprung and over valved have made these cars to firm for most customers riding. feels like your getting beat to death in the small chop, rocks roots and sand chatter. Manufactures must be conservative in there valving and spring rates to ensure the car will work for the widest variety of riders and conditions. These cars also must pass a roll over test from the manufactures. Keeping the cars low (soft spring or tender) and firm (firm low speed compression valving) keeps the car from rolling and keeps warranty claims low by not bottoming out . When we revalve the shock we will tailor it to work best for your terrain, and accessory’s and you. This can be softer for more ride comfort or firmer for short course racing these shocks are very tunable , setup properly they will work great.

Dual rate spring kits are a fantastic way to make gains in ride quality on these large machines. From Polaris ranger 570 to the Can am maverick x3 application specific springs can be a make or break ride quality. We use a variety of spring rates to achieve the correct ride height and quality for our builds. It’s best to contact us to get the proper rate for your build.
